Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and France

On September 24, in New York, on the margins of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.

The interlocutors discussed initiatives aimed at deepening relations between Armenia and France, in line with the vision and the expressed political will for developing strategic partnership.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Jean-Noël Barrot also touched upon cooperation between Armenia and the EU, as well as active engagement on multilateral platforms.

Discussing regional issues, Minister Mirzoyan noted that Armenia highly values France’s continued support for Armenia’s democratic reforms and initiatives aimed at further strengthening regional peace.
