Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia with the Minister Delegate for European Affairs of France

On November 20, within the framework of his working visit to France, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan had a meeting with Benjamin Haddad, the Minister Delegate for European Affairs of France.

The interlocutors discussed the further enhancement of Armenia-France relations, as well as the opportunities for deepening the Armenia-EU partnership.

The sides commended the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and France and the strengthening of Armenian-French multifaceted cooperation in a number of key areas.

Paruyr Hovhannisyan also briefed his counterpart on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the “Crossroad of Peace’’ project developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

A number of other international and regional current issues were also touched upon.
