The Deputy Foreign Ministers received the Ambassador of the Republic of France

On May 8, Deputy Foreign Ministers Vahe Gevorgyan and Vahan Kostanyan received Anne Louyot, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Armenia.

The interlocutors exchanged views about the recent developments in the normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs once again reiterated the positions of the Armenian side regarding the key issues related to normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Touching upon the ongoing blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan, in violation of the Trilateral Statement of November 9, 2020, as well as the humanitarian crisis unfolded in Nagorno-Karabakh - the urgent need for all interested partners to undertake active steps towards ensuring stability in the South Caucasus region was underscored.
